Community Guidelines

RandomCamChat is an adult platform (18+) for meeting new people through random cam and text chat. These guidelines define the standards of behavior we expect from every user. Violations can result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.

Effective: May 1, 2025

RandomCamChat is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Any exposure of minors to adult content, any attempt to involve minors in sessions, or any content involving minors is a severe violation subject to immediate permanent banning and reporting to law enforcement.

1. Introduction

These Community Guidelines apply to all users of RandomCamChat, including guests, registered users, and subscribers. By using the platform you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service.

RandomCamChat connects adults through random live cam chat and text chat. Our goal is to maintain a platform that is open, expressive, and safe. We do not aim to be overly restrictive of adult content, but we enforce firm boundaries around illegal activity, non-consensual behavior, and harassment.

2. What Is Allowed

General Behavior

  • Meeting and chatting with strangers through random cam or text sessions
  • Expressing yourself freely within the boundaries of these guidelines
  • Using interest tags to find people with similar interests
  • Skipping or ending sessions at any time — you are always in control
  • Reporting users who violate these guidelines

Adult Content (Registered Adults Only)

RandomCamChat permits consensual adult content between registered users who are verified to be 18 or older. "Consensual" means both participants have actively chosen to engage in that type of session. Both parties can end the session at any time by pressing Skip or Next.

  • Consensual adult conversation and adult-themed cam sessions between willing adults
  • Expression of adult interests through interest tags

3. Prohibited Behavior

The following are prohibited and will result in immediate account action up to and including permanent removal:

Content Involving Minors — Zero Tolerance

  • Any sexual or nude content involving anyone under 18
  • Any attempt to engage minors in adult sessions
  • Using RandomCamChat to contact, groom, or exploit minors
  • Claiming to be or portraying a minor during adult sessions

Violations in this category are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.

Non-Consensual Content

  • Recording, capturing screenshots of, or redistributing a match's video feed without their explicit consent
  • Sharing or threatening to share images of another user without consent (non-consensual intimate imagery)
  • Attempting to continue a session after a match has expressed unwillingness to continue

Harassment & Abuse

  • Targeted harassment, threats, or intimidation of any user
  • Hate speech targeting a person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Repeated contact with a user who has blocked you (ban evasion)

Spam & Scams

  • Sending repetitive, automated, or bot-generated messages
  • Using sessions to promote external websites, products, or services without authorization
  • Phishing, scamming, or attempting to extract personal information under false pretenses
  • Soliciting financial transactions outside of the platform's official payment system

Impersonation & Fraud

  • Creating a fake account or misrepresenting your identity
  • Using pre-recorded or looped video instead of a live feed during cam sessions
  • Impersonating RandomCamChat staff or moderation team members

Illegal Activity

  • Any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law
  • Selling or distributing illegal drugs, weapons, or counterfeit goods
  • Facilitating human trafficking or sexual exploitation

4. Reporting & Moderation

How to Report

If you see behavior that violates these guidelines, use the Report button during or immediately after a session — reports go straight to our moderation team.

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Providing specific details (what happened, when it happened) helps us act faster.

What Happens After You Report

  • Your report is logged and reviewed by the moderation team.
  • Serious violations (illegal content, threats) are escalated immediately.
  • The reported account may be suspended pending investigation.
  • You will not be notified of the specific outcome for the reported account, but we take all reports seriously.

Good Faith Reporting

Reports submitted in good faith will not result in action against the reporter, even if the report does not lead to account action. Submitting false or malicious reports to harass other users is itself a violation of these guidelines.

5. Enforcement

RandomCamChat uses a combination of automated systems and human moderation to enforce these guidelines. Enforcement actions include:

  • Warning: For minor first-time violations.
  • Temporary suspension: For repeated or more serious violations. Duration varies by severity.
  • Permanent ban: For severe violations, zero-tolerance category violations, or repeated behavior after prior warnings.
  • Law enforcement referral: For illegal activity, content involving minors, or serious threats.

Appeals

If you believe your account was actioned in error, you can submit an appeal using the in-session report tools, which reach our moderation team. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis, and decisions are final for zero-tolerance category violations.
