Safety on RandomCamChat
RandomCamChat is for adults 18+ who want quick, respectful conversations with new people. Here is exactly how we keep random cam chat safer — the rules, the controls you have in every session, and how to protect your own privacy.
Your controls — in every session
You are never stuck in a conversation. Skip, Block, and Report stay on screen the entire time, so you can act the moment something feels wrong instead of searching through settings.
- Skip ends the current match instantly and finds someone new — no explanation needed.
- Block stops a specific user from ever matching with you again.
- Report sends the session to our moderation team for review.
Community rules
RandomCamChat is for real, respectful conversation between adults. The following are not allowed and can lead to a permanent ban:
- Anyone under 18 — RandomCamChat is strictly 18+.
- Nudity or sexual content.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or violence.
- Scams, spam, or links to other services.
- Recording other users or sharing their images without consent.
- Collecting another user’s personal or financial information.
Camera, microphone & privacy
RandomCamChat runs entirely in your browser — there is no app to download. When you go live, your browser asks for camera and microphone permission, and you can deny, pause, or revoke that permission at any time in your browser settings.
Private 1-on-1 sessions are built for real-time conversation, not public broadcasting: there are no public streams or follower feeds. For your own privacy, do not show documents, your address, payment information, or anything personally identifying on camera, and review our Privacy Policy for how account data is handled.
How moderation & reports work
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Account-based access (rather than full anonymity) makes it easier to act on bad actors and reduce bots and fake sessions. When a report is upheld, we can warn, suspend, or permanently ban the account. Repeated or severe violations are removed without warning.
Read the full Community Guidelines for the complete list of rules and how they are enforced.

- If someone pressures you for personal information or money, Block and Report them.
- Trust your instincts: if a conversation feels wrong, Skip immediately.
Safety — FAQ

Nudity and sexual content, harassment, hate speech, threats, violence, scams, spam, and any attempt to collect another user’s personal or financial information are all prohibited and can lead to a ban.
How do I report or block someone?
Skip, Block, and Report controls stay visible during every session. Skip ends the current match instantly, Block stops a user from matching with you again, and Report sends the session to our moderation team for review.
Does RandomCamChat record my video?
Private 1-on-1 sessions are for real-time conversation, not public broadcasting — there are no public streams or follower feeds. Always review our Privacy Policy for how account data is handled, and never share anything on camera you would not want a stranger to see.
